This Privacy Policy explains how Brama Audio handles information related to this website, product purchases, Brama Dock licensing and installation, orders, and support.

Information we may receive

When you purchase a Brama Audio product, checkout and payment are handled by Dodo Payments. Brama Audio may receive purchase-related information such as your email address, order details, licence status, country, and tax information needed for the transaction. Brama Audio does not receive or store your full payment-card details.

If you contact us, we may receive your email address, your message, and any technical information you choose to include.

How we use information

We use information to deliver products, provide license access, respond to support requests, manage orders, handle updates, keep business records, and improve our products and documentation.

Licensing and device identifiers

Brama Dock creates a random device identifier when it first runs. This identifier is not derived from your hardware, computer name, operating-system account, or other device fingerprint. It is stored in the operating system's secure credential storage and in Brama Audio application data so the same installation can be recognised and recovered if its local application-data file is lost.

When you activate or validate a product, Brama Dock sends the random device identifier, product identifier, and license information to Brama Audio's licensing service. Our payment and licensing provider receives an activation name containing only a short part of the random identifier. We use this information to enforce activation limits, validate access, issue signed offline receipts, authorise product downloads, prevent abuse, and provide license support.

Brama Audio's licensing database stores a keyed digest of the license key, the random device identifier, product and provider activation identifiers, activation status, and relevant timestamps. It does not store the complete license key, customer name, email address, payment-card details, computer name, hardware serial number, or a hardware fingerprint. The complete license key is stored by Brama Dock using the operating system's secure credential storage and is processed by the licensing provider when required.

Product trials

When you request a trial, the email address you provide is sent to our email-delivery provider only to send a verification code. To apply the limit consistently, the verified address is lowercased and any alias appended with a plus sign is removed before its cryptographic digest is created. The code is still sent to the address you entered. Brama Audio's database does not store that address in plain text. It stores only a keyed cryptographic digest of the normalized email and another of the random device identifier to enforce one trial per verified email and per device. These digests are not designed to reveal the original address.

The application's trial logic does not read, store, or use your IP address as an identifier or abuse signal. Infrastructure providers may process technical network data in their own systems to deliver and protect the service under their respective policies.

Payments

The website asks Brama Audio's Cloudflare Worker to create a short-lived Dodo Payments Checkout Session. Product and price identifiers are selected on the server. You are then sent to Dodo Payments' secure page, where payment details are collected directly. The return flow verifies the payment status directly with Dodo Payments before showing a confirmation page. Licence keys and email addresses appended by the provider are not placed in the confirmation URL shown to you.

After a payment is confirmed, the Worker may temporarily keep the email address, order identifier and summary, and an encrypted copy of the licence key. This information is used to show the confirmation and transfer the licence to Brama Dock through a one-time token. The token does not contain the licence, is replaced when the confirmation is retrieved, and stops working after it is used.

Cookies and analytics

The website does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, fingerprinting, or remarketing tools. To measure the aggregate path between a visit, a trial, and a purchase, it may create a random first-party identifier. For direct visits, this identifier exists only for the browser session.

When you visit through a Brama Audio campaign link, the browser may keep that random identifier in local storage for up to 30 days. The service stores only a keyed cryptographic digest of the identifier, the campaign, source, medium, timestamps, and, where available, the referring domain. This information is used to measure aggregate campaign results. It does not contain your email, licence key, device identifier, or raw IP address, and it is not used to track you across websites.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers when needed to operate checkout, licensing, Brama Dock installations and updates, order records, support, fraud prevention, accounting, or legal compliance.

Retention

We keep purchase, license, activation, random device identifier, and support records for as long as needed to provide access, enforce activation limits, support customers, keep business records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Temporary post-purchase confirmation records, including any encrypted licence key, expire automatically within seven days. Short-lived download authorisation records also expire automatically.
