DERIVA 1.2.0

stable

Deeper Engine character, smoother Fragment changes and an Archive that stays consistent across plugin instances.

macOS AUmacOS VST3Windows VST3

Improved

  • Each Fragment now gives Erosion, Scatter, Veil and Mirror its own repeatable hidden variation, producing more character without adding controls or breaking recall.
  • New Fragments crossfade between two complete Engine chains, allowing grains, texture and reverb tails to leave naturally while the new state grows in.
  • Erosion has more controlled saturation, spectral shaping and level compensation across different source levels.
  • Scatter forms more varied octave-based clouds with improved grain scheduling, envelopes, tone and stereo movement.
  • Veil uses smoother overlapping texture reads and more organic seeded movement.
  • Mirror gains a denser spatial onset, richer diffusion, frequency-dependent decay and more controlled stereo behaviour.
  • FRACTURE now compares several safe parameter states and favours a result that differs perceptually from recent discoveries.

Fixed

  • Archive changes are committed transactionally and reconciled across multiple open DERIVA instances without overwriting newer Remnants.
  • Loading, renaming, reordering or hiding a Remnant now keeps the active selection and stored Engine state consistent.
  • Veil and Mirror values are mapped to their correct Engines throughout Archive recall and diagnostics.

Diagnostics

  • Diagnostic reports now include runtime, routing, current Fragment and Archive health information without exposing licence keys or personal content.
