DERIVA 1.1.0
Rebuilt processing engines, safer dynamics and clearer Archive maps.
New
- DERIVA now uses one current DSP path for every Fragment and Remnant. Existing Archives retain their names, parameters, lineage, Engine order and mute states while moving to the updated sound engine.
- Older Remnants receive a deterministic DSP seed during migration, keeping Scatter repeatable across sessions.
Improved
- Erosion now uses latency-free antiderivative anti-aliasing, asymmetric saturation and smoother spectral shaping from subtle colour to dense degradation.
- Scatter has cleaner grain interpolation, deterministic scheduling, continuous pitch movement and more stable stereo clouds.
- Veil now combines sample-rate-stable resonant filters with a smoothly windowed texture loop and tempo-aware stereo motion.
- Mirror uses a new eight-line spatial network with controlled reverse and shimmer layers, frequency-dependent damping and musical sidechain recovery.
- Final output protection is now stereo-linked and only acts close to full scale, preserving image balance and dynamics.
- Field, Stars, Compass and Line use more stable layouts and more meaningful sound, intensity and lineage relationships.
Fixed
- Engine mute and bypass changes crossfade instead of hard-switching complex audio paths.
- Archive map points no longer jump when filters or sorting change the visible Remnants.
- Previous Keeper signatures remain valid when older Archives are opened and saved in the new format.
