DERIVA 1.5.0
A native interface, more expressive waveforms and engine-specific intensity labels.
New
- Native interface with refined lighting, typography, alignment and interaction feedback.
- Distinct, more expressive motion for each waveform style.
- Engine-specific intensity labels, including reachable VOID and SINGULARITY regions.
Improved
- Archive selection, contextual menus, Compare, Merge and Suture presentation.
- Remnant naming, search, engine dragging, Mix interaction, tooltips and interface scaling.
- Reuse of static interface resources while waveforms animate.
Fixed
- Restoring Scatter Solo from saved state preserves the intended setting.
- Embedded symbol fonts load correctly through the Windows native text provider.
Compatibility
- Existing product IDs, licensing identity and stored processing parameters are retained. Existing Remnants may show revised intensity labels without changing their stored sound settings.
- macOS Universal AU/VST3 and Windows x64 VST3. Standalone is not included.
- Windows DERIVA requires Microsoft Visual C++ v14 Redistributable for x64, not WebView2 for its native interface. Brama Dock has separate requirements.
Known issue
- The first interaction with a text-entry field can occasionally be slower than expected. Further input-latency refinement remains planned.
The updated manual covers the controls and Archive workflows in this version.
